Evidence of sub-surface materials <br />which were covered by soil and vegetation were observed throughout Area 8. The general vicinity <br />of Area 8 was potentially used for disposal of school supplies and school laboratory chemicals <br />within a fanner greenhouse according to ISD #623. The exact location and contents of the fanner <br />greenhouse was not identified in the Phase II ESA. Debris identified in the test pits performed in <br />Area 8 (area A) included concrete; bricks; wood, glass and slag. <br /> <br />2.9 Area 9 <br /> <br />Area 9 was west of Wetland 3, south of the existing trail. The debris observed in Area 9 included <br />two old wagons (See Photo #12). No evidence of buried debris was observed. <br /> <br />2.10 Area 10 <br /> <br />Area 10 is west of Wetland 3; north of the existing trail. The debris observed in Area 10 included <br />stacks of brush. No additional debris or evidence of buried debris was observed. <br /> <br />2.11 Area 11 <br /> <br />Area 11 is on the northwest corner of Wetland 3. Debris observed in Area 11 included scattered <br />concrete, tin cans, brush and one rusted, empty barrel (See Photo #13). No evidence of buried <br />debris was observed. <br /> <br />2.12 Area 12 <br /> <br />Area 12 is located within a center of a grove of trees, on the southwest portion of the site (See <br />Photo #14). Debris observed in Area 12 included miscellaneous car parts, paint cans, <br />miscellaneous containers, tires and roofing shingles (See Photo #15).
