This new product marks the first time Computype has produced an <br />applicator for its line of custom-designed, sequentially numbered bar <br />code labels. <br /> <br />The Computype Bar Code Label Applicator (BCLA) is designed <br />specifically with the electronics industry in mind. It can be used <br />for automatic, sequential labelling of printed circuit boards or <br />other products which require precise placement of high-density bar <br />code labels. By making manual labelling obsolete, the ComputypeBCLA <br />can dramatically improve labelling accuracy and manufacturing line <br />productivity and cost-effectiveness. <br /> <br />The Computype BCLA uses a vacuum and mechanical handling system and a <br />built-in programmable controller to lift an adhesive-backed bar code <br />label off a continuous roll and place it on the printed circuit board <br />surface.
