Holt spoke to <br />176how the Best Value process thoroughly takes the subjectivity out of <br />177the process. Evaluations and scoring are completely blind, you do <br />178not know who is coming in to interview until they walk through the <br />179door. Dave truly believes this process leads you to the best value <br />180contractor. <br />181Doneen commented that he didn’t feel the design of the process was <br />182biased. <br />183Brokke reiterated that the review team followed the methodology <br />184and process throughout the packages. <br />185 <br />STAFF REPORT <br />1867. <br />187Brokke reported; <br />th <br />188June 9has been scheduled as the joint meeting for the City Council and the Parks & <br />189Recreation Commission. <br />190D. Holt talked about how recent Commissions have handled the annual joint <br />o <br />191meeting. <br />192Last year’s agenda was reviewed. <br />193Diedrick reviewed the Commission goals. The goals tend to give the <br />194discussion direction and demonstrate the work the Commission <br />195accomplished over the past year. <br />196Joint meetings during the past few years have involved a variety of <br />197Commissioners speaking on the topic/item they have led or been involved <br />198with. <br />199Commissioners were encouraged to review the materials they received <br />200tonight and pass along to Brokkeany suggestions for the upcoming meeting. <br />201Agenda will be finalized at the June commission meeting. <br /> <br />
