Holter. I live at 2507 W. County Rd. C2, Roseville <br />with my wife Heather and my son Seay~r. We _are. writing this Jet~~r _ <br />to inform you of our opposition to the proposed development across <br />the street from our neighborhood, Planning file name: John N. Allen. <br />The location is the southwest quadrant of County Rd. C2 and Highway <br />88. <br /> <br />Weare opposed for several reasons: <br />1. We do not want an unsightly warehouse across our street. The <br />property is zoned residential and should remain so. When we <br />purchased our house, a major factor in our decision was the fact that <br />the property across from ours was zoned residential not commercial. <br />2. We believe a commercial development will increase traffic volume <br />and traffic speeds and jeopardize our children's safety. In addition, <br />the nuisance from these traffi6 increases will decrease our quality of <br />living. <br />3. Roseville appears to have a surplus of office/warhouse space open <br />already. Do we really need another complex?, and built in the middle <br />of a neighborhood? <br />4. After speaking with my neighbors, all are as opposed as I am. <br />5. Roseville needs more single family housing to offset the aging <br />population and should encourage such a development at this location. <br />6. My neighbors and I worry that a commercial development will <br />lower the values of our homes. We also worry that a prospective <br />buyer in the future would be less likely to purchase because of our <br />location next to a commercial site. <br />7. We, may ,.be assessed if improvements are made to the site. <br />
