Introductions/Public Comment Invited <br />Commissioners and staff will be introduced. Public participation and public comment is <br />encouraged. <br />th <br />2. Approval of Minutes of the January 6, 2009 Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of January 6, 2009. Please be prepared to approve or amend. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />: Approve/amend minutes of the meeting of January 6, 2009. <br />3. Muriel Sahlin Arboretum Restroom/Multi Purpose Facility <br />This item was reviewed at your January meeting and referred to your February meeting for more <br />discussion. Since that time, staff has continued to meet with Mr. Kevin Busch, Busch Architects to <br />refine the drawings and be sure all costs are included. Mr. Busch, a board member of the <br />Roseville Central Park Foundation will be at the meeting to communicate the specific proposal, <br />answer questions and seek your recommendation to take to the Roseville City Council. <br />Enclosed are the: <br /> Arboretum concept plans identifying the 3 possible sites for the facility <br /> Construction cost estimate dated 4/5/06 <br /> Revenue analysis scenarios dated 10/30/08 <br /> Updated drawings and cost estimates for site #1 and Site #2 from Busch Architects dated <br />1/19/09 <br />Requested Commission Action <br />: Comments, questions suggestions and recommendation on <br />the restroom facility at the arboretum. <br />4. 2009 Park Improvement/Project Program –Discuss Disease and Hazardous Tree Removals <br />The Park Improvement Program funding for 2009 is set at $215,000. Enclosed are the proposed <br />projects. Staff will be prepared to briefly review each item with you and answer any questions you <br />may have. Included in the proposal is the city diseased and hazardous tree removal funding <br />needs, a responsibility of the Parks and Recreation Department and Commission per enclosed <br />ordinance. <br />Requested Commission Action: <br /> Discuss and Recommend the 2009 PIP projects. <br />5. Frank Rog Amphitheatre Improvements and Event Update <br />Staff and Commission committee members will be prepared to provide to you with an update on <br />the art project.
