<br /> <br />Willmus inquired into whether reserve funding might be available as an option for funding the diseased <br />and hazardous tree program. Willmus asked if reserve funding levels are maintained for bond ratings or <br />to be used when needed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Commission Recommendation: <br /> <br />Motion made by Willmus to approve the proposed 2009 PIP plan with the removal of funding for Diseased and <br />Hazardous Trees as it pertains to Right of Way trees. Second by Pederson. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> FRANK ROG AMPHITHEATRE UPDATE <br />5. <br />Anfang updated the Commission on progress of the Amphitheatre project. Staff have identified project <br />expenses and are working on options to meet the project budget. Anfang and a small group of community <br />members have chosen an artist to create an original piece of art for Central Park and the Amphitheatre. The <br />project timeline is tight but the objective remains to have the facility renovated, the sound system upgraded and <br />public art installed by mid May, in plenty of time for a Community Celebration to recognize Frank Rog, <br />facility namesake and introduce the Amphitheatre upgrades to the community in early June. <br /> <br /> DIRECTOR’S REPORT <br />6. <br /> <br />Updated Commissioners on Roseville’s potential economic stimulus projects. <br /> <br />The Re-accreditation visit has been narrowed down to the last week in May or the first week in June. <br />More information will be shared at upcoming Commission meetings. <br /> <br /> OTHER <br />7. <br /> <br /> <br />Roseville Home and Garden Fair is scheduled for Saturday, February 21 <br /> <br /> <br />The application deadline for open positions on all City Commissions is February 27. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />Jill Anfang, Assistant Director <br />
