SectionA:Personnel <br />SectionB:ProjectApproach;OverviewandWorkPlan <br />ParksandRecreationSystemMasterPlanUpdate <br />CityofRoseville,Minnesota <br />opportunitiesareresolvedinthecontextoftheĭƚƒƒǒƓźƷǤ͸ƭvisioninthesecondstageofthe <br />work. <br />OurWorkPlanisframedaroundthistwopartprocess.WeanticipateworkingwithaSteering <br />Committee,theParkandRecreationsMasterPlanUpdateTeam(PARMPUT),whowillbe <br />chargedwithguidingandoverseeingourwork,andwithofferingusthechancetohavelocal <br />issuesinterpretedbythosewithknowledgeoflocalconditions.Ourprocessincludesregular <br />meetingswiththePARMPUTandopportunitiesforgreaterinvolvementbythepublicatkey <br />pointsthroughouttheplanningprocess.WewillrelyuponthePARMPUTtocommunicate <br />informationabouttheprogressanddirectionsoftheworkduringtheplanningprocesstotheir <br />constituencies.WealsoexpectthattheĭźƷǤ͸ƭparkandrecreationstaffwillbeintegrally <br />involvedinthisprocess,lendingtheirexperiencedirectlyintotheformulationoftheplan. <br />Whilewedescribetheworkasdiscreettasks,itshouldreallybeviewedasacontinuouseffort. <br />Ourworkplanframesthetaskswewouldpursuewithanideathatthereisanaturalprogression <br />oftheplanningprocess,withtwosignificantdeliverables:theVisionandtheMasterPlan.To <br />giveabetterunderstandingofthelogicbehindacontinuousworkeffort,fourstagesofworkare <br />defined: <br />PartOne:TheVision <br />StageOne:Convene <br />StageTwo:Explore <br />PartTwo:TheMasterPlan <br />StageThree:Define <br />StageFour:Act <br />WorkPlan <br />BasedonourunderstandingoftheĭźƷǤ͸ƭneedsandtheirdesireforanintensiveengagement <br />processthatresultsinatrulyprogressiveplanfortheĭƚƒƒǒƓźƷǤ͸ƭparkandrecreationsystem, <br />wehaveframedaworkplanandasetofdeliverables.Whileweprovidesignificantdetail,we <br />expectthatthecitywilllooktomakeadjustmentstoensureitmeetstheĭƚƒƒǒƓźƷǤ͸ƭneeds. <br />page6 <br /> <br />
