Follow-up to the Joint Commission/City Council Meeting <br />6. <br />The annual joint meeting of the City Council and Parks and Recreation Commission was held on <br />Monday, June 15, 2009. This was an item you requested to be on the agenda so you have an <br />opportunity to discuss how the meeting went, what the outcomes were and what follow up is <br />necessary. The minutes of that meeting are included in your packet for your review & discussion. <br /> Requested Commission Action <br />: Discuss joint meeting approach and outcomes <br />Discuss Tour Day/Date/Locations <br />7. <br />Your September meeting has traditionally been a tour of parks and facilities. Your regularly <br />st <br />scheduled meeting day is Tuesday, September 1. If you wish to stay with this day, to avoid <br />darkness it is recommended to start earlier. If you decide to do this, please be prepared to let <br />staff know of the sites you would like to visit - drive by or walk?
