MEMORANDUM <br />- MEETING DAY IS THURSDAY January 3", MEETING LOCATION IS <br />1 Civic Center Drive <br />To: Parks and Recreation Commission <br />From: Lonnie Brokke <br />Date: December 12, 2007 <br />Re: Notes for Commission Meeting on Thursday January 3rd .2008 <br />1. <br />INTRODUCTION/ROLL CALL/PUBLIC COMMENT INVITED <br />Commissioners and staff will be introduced. Public participation and public comment is <br />encouraged. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF DECEMBER 4, 2007 <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of December 4, 2007. Please be prepared to approve or <br />amend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Approve or amend minutes of the meeting of December 4, <br />2007. <br />3. DEPARTMENT REVIEW <br />Staff will present a review of the current and upcoming recreation programs, services and <br />projects. <br />Requested Commission Action: Comments, questions and suggestions for recreation <br />programs, services and projects. <br />4. EVOS (NEW KIND OF PLAY STRUCTURE) VIDEO <br />A new type of play structure is on the market that staff would like to show you. There will be a <br />short video presentation at your meeting with additional information. Staff would like feedback <br />from you as to how you think this would fit into the Roseville Community and where, what type <br />of park you think it might fit? <br />Requested Commission Action: Comments, questions and suggestions. <br />5. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMMITTEE REPORT <br />You selected Commissioner Willmus as your representative to the steering committee for the <br />city comprehensive plan update. Commissioner Willmus will review any committee progress <br />and ask for any appropriate participation, comments, etc. <br />Requested Commission Action: Report and comments <br />6. DIRECTORS REPORT <br />7. CHANGE FEBRUARY 51 , MEETING DATE <br />Due to caucuses scheduled for the 1" Tuesday in February the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission meeting will need to be rescheduled. Please check your calendars to see what <br />might work best for everyone. The Council Chamber is open the following Tuesday the 12th, as <br />well as both Thursdays, the 7th, and the 141". Or, of course, you may meet in another room, <br />another day/date or at a remote facility as you have done in the past. <br />Requested Commissioner Action: Select a date for your February Meeting <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />
