Parks and Recreation Commission: The Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory committee that makes recommendations to the Director of Parks and Recreation, the City Manager and the Roseville City Council on all matters relating to parks and recreation programs, facilities and services. The Commission is responsible for: — Providing a method for citizens' input concerning the city's parks and recreation facilities, programs, needs and concerns. — Identifying areas that may require action and/or change to promote a harmonious, safe, and responsive Parks and Recreation program. Parks and Recreation Mission Statement and History The following mission statement should serve as a overall guide for undertaking the park master plan update: Roseville Parks and Recreation is organized to benefit all citizens of Roseville; to plan, develop, promote and supervise a variety of recreational activities and facilities of sufficient quantity and quality to meet community preference and needs and to preserve and enhance the natural resources of the community.
