Roseville Parks and Recreation understands that quality of life is <br />vital to the residents of Roseville. The many facilities and numerous recreation <br />programs and special events contribute directly to the health and well-being of the entire <br />community. <br />a Facility information: <br />o Roseville Skating Center: <br />The Roseville Skating Center is a unique community facility ... an indoor <br />ice arena, North America's Iargest continuous sheet of refrigerated outdoor <br />ice, a Tier Two Aggressive Park and a multi-purpose <br />banquet/meeting facility. The Skating Center has three primary areas of <br />operation, The Roseville Ice Arena, The Guidant John Rose MN OVAL <br />and banquet/meeting facilities. <br />o The Harriet Alexander Nature Center: <br />The Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) is an oasis nestled within <br />the borders of Roseville's Central Park. The nature center provides <br />protection for hundreds of animal and plant species. The boardwalk and <br />trails circulate through 52 acres of marsh, prairie and forest habitats. <br />During your visit to HANG you might find migrating songbirds, towering <br />prairie grasses, rows of painted turtles, or cottontail rabbits. <br />o Central Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum: <br />The Roseville Central Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum provides residents <br />and visitors a relaxed and serene setting to discover and enjoy 8 acres of <br />beautiful theme gardens, manicured grounds, stone and paved walkways, a <br />central water feature and wonderful architectural structures. Visitors will <br />also get a chance to explore ideas for their own residential landscape <br />projects. The Arboretum accommodates up to 300 guests. <br />o Cedarholm Golf Course: <br />Roseville Cedarholm Golf Course is a par -three, nine -hole course <br />conveniently located just north of both St. Paul and Minneapolis. The <br />course is lined with beautiful gardens and mature trees and can <br />consistently be played in less than two hours by golfers of all ages and <br />abilities. Youth, ladies, co-ed and senior leagues are available along with <br />pull carts, rental clubs, concessions and a small grill.
