This document includes the 15 goals and nearly 150 strategies identified <br />by the citizens of Roseville to shape the future of our conunuiuty. <br />City staff conducted numerous internal brainstor nhig sessions and carne rip with hundreds of <br />tD <br />potential actior>/steps that the City could Luider take to achieve those goals. These action items <br />range fTom continuing services as usual to implementing multi -mullion dollar changes over <br />several years. <br />The City Council has asked that each of the Corurnissions and the HRA provide comments on <br />the document and a priority list of items that arc specif c to your Conunission's <br />responsibilities. Please consider the value to the citizens of Roseville and the cost that <br />taxpayers may bear to complete these action plans and identify whether cacti item is a high, <br />medium or low priority. <br />We are asking that you review, discuss and give input on this document and that your <br />Corrunission provide i'eedback by September 4.1 realize this is a short turn aror.rrad tithe, but <br />Councilmembers would like to use your feedback when setting the 2008 budget. Your <br />Commission may consider holdnig a special meeting if you are unable to complete this task at <br />your regular niceting. <br />For your convcrzience, I ani enclosing a working docrunent for you to identify by number the <br />items specific to your Cone-Dission's scope of responsibilities. We ask that you bring the <br />document with your caranients to your next Conui-i ssion meeting and at that meeting your <br />Corrunission will create one docurxrent to send on to the City Council. <br />0 Page 1 <br />
