The membership of this committee includes representatives from <br />several of the City's advisory commissions, including the Parrs and Recreation Commission. <br />As such, we are asking that you discuss with this commission who would be interested in <br />serving on the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee representative from the Parks <br />and Recreation Commission will be asked to serve as a liaison between the commission and <br />the steering committee. <br />It is anticipated that the Steering Committee will have at monthly evening meeting, beginning <br />in September and running through the summer of 2008. Members will help to ensure that the <br />proposed comprehensive plan changes fit the needs of the community. They will help guide <br />the comprehensive plan updating process and be a sounding board for the consultant team. <br />The Steering Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Council, which is the <br />ultimate decision snaking body regarding city policy. <br />If you have any questions regarding the Comprehensive Pian updating process or the Steering <br />Committee, please do not hesitate to contact me at 792-7072 or <br />j amie.radelnci. roseville.nul. us. <br />
