<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING A MORATORIUM ON THE <br />CONSIDERATION OF ALL APPLICATIONS FOR BUILDING PERMITS AND <br />ZONING RELATED APPROVALS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City ofRoseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Whereas, the City of Little Canada has undertaken and completed a study <br />concerning the land use along Rice Street; and <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Whereas, the City of Roseville is conducting studies to review the present and <br />future development along Rice Street within the City of Roseville in accordance with <br />its Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />Whereas, the City Council has determined there must be a moratorium on the <br />consideration of all applications for building permits and zoning related approvals to <br />allow completion of the study to insure that development will occur which is <br />compatible with the comprehensive plans ofRoseville and adjacent communities. <br /> <br />Therefore, the City Council ordains that commencing on the date of publication <br />of this ordinance and extending until , a moratorium shall exist on <br />all applications for building permits and zoning related approvals. The City Council <br />may, at its sole discretion, extend this moratorium by resolution, until <br />, if the above mentioned studies are not complete. This ordinance <br />is passed pursuant to Minn. Stat. S462.355 Subd. 4. <br />
