<br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />By motion, recommend City Council approval of: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve resolution amending the Comprehensive Plan Map subject to Metropolitan <br />Council approval. The Metropolitan Council has sixty days under Minnesota Statute 15.99. <br /> <br />2. Motion to approve Zoning Ordinance Map amendment from B-1, B-2, and B-3, effective after <br />approval, signatures, and publication. <br /> <br />3. Motion to approve Conditional Use Permit Resolution including staff conditions and additions <br />by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />4. Motion to approve preliminary and final plat, subject to completion of a subdivision <br />development agreement, review by the City attorney and signatures of City Manager. <br /> <br />5. Motion to give authorization of Mayor and City Manager to sign the final plat only after all <br />Comprehensive Plan, zoning, and conditional use permit, as well as, subdivision development <br />agreement are complete. <br /> <br />Note: The Council has also extended its decision date by up to sixty days, after the initial sixty day <br />review period which began on April 18, 1996 (decision by August 18, 1996). <br /> <br />Staff understands that following the Planning Commission meeting, the applicant may be presenting a <br />modified plan trying to address concerns raised by the Commission and neighbors. If this is the case, <br />the Council will need to determine if the new proposal is still consistent with the project advertised for <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Staff Report by: Mike Falk <br /> <br />10 <br />
