EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 28th day of May, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. AMENDMENT TO THE ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVISING THE TEXT AND LAND USE MAP DESIGNATIONS FOR BRUCE KATH, 1912 LEXINGTON AVENUE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Act of 1976 the City of Roseville is required to prepare a city comprehensive plan, and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, in 1994, adopted a plan entitled "City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan", which was sent to the Metro Council for review; and WHEREAS, the northeast corner of 1912 Lexington Avenue (that area zoned B-1 Limited Business) is designated low density residential in the Comprehensive Land Use Guide Plan; and WHEREAS, if the project is to be approved, the designation in this area of the Comprehensive Plan map must be changed to a business designation; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has adopted the recommendations and revisions to the Comprehensive Guide Plan, after a public hearing held on May 8, 1996; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have invited comment and provided legal notice to all affected adjacent communities and all property owners within 350 feet ofthe land use map change. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Roseville City Council hereby approves and adopts the amendment to the City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan, subject to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; and the following voted against the same:
