Wagner
1148 Autumn Street
Roseville, MN 55113-6101

Dear Mr. Wagner:

Thank you for your letter of February 21 regarding the Kath Fuel and Oil proposal for the
southeast comer of Lexington and Roselawn Avenues. Your letter is being forwarded to
the Roseville Planning Commission and City Council for their review.

You obviously have strong opinions regarding the Kath proposal. The first step for any
project of this type is a neighborhood meeting with the property owner. The property owner
then may proceed to the Planning Commission, and ultimately the City Council for final
consideration. I encourage you to remain involved in each step to make your feelings
known.

I'm sure many people will share your concern about another gas station in that area of the
City. However, the property owner has the legal right to propose uses consistent with the
underlying zoning on the property. The Planning Commission and Cou~cil role is very
specific. Your contributions to that discussion will be appreciated.

Again, please remain involved, and thank you for your pride and interest in our community.

Sincerely,

Steven R.
