The city screwed the <br />neighborhood out of its only playground by giving it to the <br />Roseville Lutheran church, just a half mile west of there. <br />We need to have a place for the children to play and that <br />corner area is about the only empty lot in the area. The <br />best thing the city could do is raze the present building <br />and convert the corner into a playground. <br /> <br />] am sure that the palms of the decision makers have been <br />greased with lots of green stuff and the decision already <br />made to approve the proposed gas station/convenience store. <br />However, that will not make it a success. The developer <br />will make his profit, the operator of the facility will lose <br />his shirt, and the city will be requested to lower the <br />taxes.
