(Old. 162,8-18.53) 702.10 702 06: AJRCRAFT: A. Use of Aircraft Declared a Hazard: The City Council finds and detennines that there are no pubic waters (except Lake Owasso) within the City which may be used by aircraft without endangering the property and lives of other persons using the public waters. The City Council finds that all p~btic waters in the City are small and hea\i1y used for boating, fishing and swimming by residents and 0 people generally and that the use of aircraft on the same waters is a hazard to public safety. The City Council further finds that by prohibiting aircraft on the public waters, the public use of such waten is greatly increased and the number of persons able to use such waters is proportionately increased. (Ord. 653, 8-9.71) B. Aircraft Prohibited from Using Public Waters: No aircraft shan fly over any public waters (ex~ Lake Owasso) at such a low altitude as to interfere with the e,osting use of the public waters em boating, bathing or other recreational uses of the waters. No aircraft shan land on public waters. other than Lake Owasso, except in the case of a forced landing.
