<br />Hydrants will be paid for at the contract unit price per hydrant installed complete with <br />valve, valve box, gravel, concrete base. polyethylene and bracing. <br /> <br />Hydrant extensions shall be measured in six inch increments and paid for at the contract <br />unit price. <br /> <br />305.600 REARRANGEMENT OF IN-PLACE FACILITIES . <br /> <br />The removal, relocation, extension, or adjustment of in-place facilities such as hydrants, <br />valves, curb stops, pipe, etc., will be measured, as indicated in the Proposal, by the <br />number of complete units of each item on a lump sum basis or by the number of linear <br />feet of each item such zs pipe. <br /> <br />305.700 GRANULAR MATERIALS <br /> <br />Granular materials furnished and placed as special foundation, bedding, encasement. or <br />backfill construction will be measured by weight or volume of material as specified in the <br />plans or the proposal furnished by the CONTRACTOR from outside sources and placed <br />within the limits defined. Unless otherwise specified, volume will be detennined by <br />vehicular measure (loose Volume) at the point of delivery.
