No mechanical devices shall be used to pull the mandrel through the pipe. 405.0 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT 405.1 SEWER PIPE Sewer pipe of each diameter and classification furnished and installed shall be measured by the linear foot regardless of the excavation depth. Measurements will be made along the centerline of the pipe ftom center to center of manholes or junction fittings. Sewer pipe will be paid for at the contract price per lineal foot. 405.2 SERVICE CONNECTIONS Wyes, double wyes, and the branches of each diameter and classification furnished and installed will be measured as a unit and paid for at the contract unit price. 405.3 SERVICE PIPE Sewer pipe used for services and risers of each diameter and classification furnished and installed will be measured separately by length in linear feet and paid for at the contract unit price. 405.4 MANHOLES Manholes win be measured ftom flowline to top of casting. 405.5 BREAK INTO EXISTING MANHOLE Break into existing manhole will be measured as a unit and paid for at the contract unit pnce. 405.6 MANHOLE FRAMES AND COVERS Manhole frames and covers will be measured by the unit and paid for at the contract unit price. . 405.7 REARRANGEMENT OF INPLACE FACILITIES The removal, relocation, extension, or adjustment of inplace facilities such as hydrants, valves, curb stops, pipe, etc., will be measured, as indicated in the "Proposal, by the number of complete units of each item on a lump sum basis or by the number of linear feet of each item such as pipe.
