No pipe <br />shall exceed a deflection of 5% at inside diameter. Tbe deflection testing shall be done <br />at least thirty (30) days following installation. No mechanical devices shall be used to <br />pull the mandrel through the pipe. <br /> <br />405.0 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />405.1 SEWER PIPE <br /> <br />Sewer pipe of each diameter and classification furnished and installed shall be measured <br />by the linear foot regardless of the excavation depth. Measurements will be made <br />along the centerline of the pipe ftom center to center of manholes or junction fittings. <br />Sewer pipe will be paid for at the contract price per lineal foot. <br /> <br />405.2 SERVICE CONNECTIONS <br /> <br />Wyes, double wyes, and the branches of each diameter and classification furnished and <br />installed will be measured as a unit and paid for at the contract unit price. <br /> <br />405.3 SERVICE PIPE <br /> <br />Sewer pipe used for services and risers of each diameter and classification furnished and <br />installed will be measured separately by length in linear feet and paid for at the contract <br />unit price. <br /> <br />405.4 MANHOLES <br /> <br />Manholes win be measured ftom flowline to top of casting. <br /> <br />405.5 BREAK INTO EXISTING MANHOLE <br /> <br />Break into existing manhole will be measured as a unit and paid for at the contract unit <br />pnce. <br /> <br />405.6 MANHOLE FRAMES AND COVERS <br /> <br />Manhole frames and covers will be measured by the unit and paid for at the contract <br />unit price. . <br /> <br />405.7 REARRANGEMENT OF INPLACE FACILITIES <br /> <br />The removal, relocation, extension, or adjustment of inplace facilities such as hydrants, <br />valves, curb stops, pipe, etc., will be measured, as indicated in the "Proposal, by the <br />number of complete units of each item on a lump sum basis or by the number of linear <br />feet of each item such as pipe.
