<br />D. <br /> <br />OWNERS PROTECTIVE INSURANCE <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall obtain and pay for Owner's Protective <br />Insurance, issued in the name of the Owner and Engineer which <br />shall pay on behalf of the insured all sums which th~ insured <br />shall become legally obligated to pay as damages because of <br />injury to the person or destruction of property sustained by <br />any person, caused by accident and arising from operations <br />during this Contract. The limits of liability for this coverage <br />shall be the same as those mentioned in Public Liability <br />Insurance above. The original of this policy shall be filed <br />with the Owner prior to the commencement of any operations <br />under this Contract. <br /> <br />SECTION 5 - DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />5.1 - DESIGN, DRAWINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS <br /> <br />It is agreed that the Owner will be responsible for the adequacy <br />and sufficiency of the plans and specifications. The Owner, <br />through the Engineer, or the Engineer as the Owner's representative, <br />shall furnish plans and specifications which represent the <br />requirements of the work as far as practical to be performed under <br />the Contract. All such drawings and instructions will provide a <br />comprehensive description of the work contemplated but will not <br />necessarily provide all details. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for the detailed application <br />of plans, specifications and instructions to complete the project <br />as intended by the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall have <br />the right to submit detailed drawings for clarification to the <br />Engineer for review and approval prior to construction. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall furnish detailed drawings for approval by the <br />Engineer for all manufactured mechanical, electrical and shop <br />fabricated materials and other shop drawings, equipment settings <br />or other drawings necessary for the prosecution of the work. <br />Submittal shall be on a timely basis to allow two weeks review <br />time for the Engineer without a delay of the work on the project. <br /> <br />5.2 <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />COPIES OF DRAWINGS FURNISHED <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />0-' <br /> <br />Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the Engineer <br />will furnish to the Contractor,-free of charge, four copies of the <br />drawings and specifications for the execution of the work. <br />Additional copies, if needed, may be obtained at cost of reproduction. <br /> <br />5.3 - OWNERSHIP OF DRAWINGS <br /> <br />All drawings, specifications and copies thereof furnished by the <br />Engineer are his property.
