MuIDOT and the City will work together to develop possibly a bigger pond west of Cleveland
A\'aIUC, but this pond win not be available for some time. Mr. Kennedy is meeting
Wednesday, April 3, 1996 with BRW to start the Twin Lakes Parkway Feasibility Study and
regional stonnwater drainage win be part of this study which is expected to take 4-6 weeks.

6. A possible interim solution could be to size the storm sewer for final development but restrict
to outflow to the current rate of discharge. Stonnwater would then build up in the parking lot
during heavy rain. The grades around the building will have to be set such that the water
would overflow into Cleveland Avenue and not reach the building floor.

7. Permits need to be obtained from Ramsey County (Dan Solar) for driveways and utilities.
Other permits may also be needed.

8. A drainage permit is also needed from Mn/DOT (Lars 1mpoJa. 582-1447). The permit
process takes about five weeks.

cc: JayICamcdy, Assistant Director of Public Works
Steve SchwaDke. RLK Associates, Ltd.
