De.er~pt~OD: <br /> <br />Water 'roller Site Lease <br /> <br />Bac:kgz'OUDd <br /> <br />During this past year, the City has been working with the li- <br />oensed Personnel communication Service (PCS) providers to arrive. <br />at an antenna lease acceptable to the City. Staff, in close <br />cooperation with the city attorney, has developed the attached <br />leas. with Sprint Spectrum LP. <br /> <br />The purpose of the agreement is to permit Sprint to lease space <br />on the Nextel (formerly One-Comm) tower located near the City's <br />water tower on pairview Avenue. Our agreement with Nextel is <br />that we may lease space as long as the proposed antenna does not <br />interfere with their operation. They have indicated that no <br />interference will occur with Sprint's desired location and will <br />sign-off on the plans. <br /> <br />The final site drawings are being completed in co-operation with <br />the engineering staff and the other site users. ~hose drawings <br />will become part of this agreement. <br /> <br />Staff Rec. ..~.ticm <br /> <br />Staff is recommending that the Mayor and City Manager be author- <br />ized to sign this lease subject to the attachments and final <br />review by the city attorney. <br /> <br />CauD.cil .acticm <br /> <br />Motion approving authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to sign <br />the completed tower spaoe lease with Sprint Spectrum Lp. <br />
