<br />..,;. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Draft <br /> <br />Draft <br /> <br />When the Roseville Library <br />is Closed for Construction <br />in 1992 - Ideas for Discussion <br />Regarding Public Concerns <br /> <br />The following will be done several months prior to the closing of the <br />Library for construction: <br /> <br />1. Information will continue to be shared with staff through the Staff <br />Bulletin, meetings, etc., regarding the move, construction plans and <br />schedules, job vacancies and transfers, etc. The staff will con- <br />tinue to be involved in all planning efforts. <br /> <br />2. The Facilities Update will continue to be issued monthly and include <br />information about the Roseville situation. <br /> <br />3. News articles will be released about the construction plans and <br />schedules including the closing of the Roseville Library for <br />construction. <br /> <br />4. Posters, flyers and other methods of communicating with Roseville <br />Library patrons will be produced in order to make current infor- <br />mation and plans available. <br /> <br />5. Library users will be informed (flyers, news articles, Facilities <br />Update, etc.) of the locations, hours and services of nearby <br />libraries. <br />Shoreview Library (new) Northtown Library (Anoka Co.)* <br />Arden Hills Library St. Paul Public - Central* <br />Maplewood Library (new)* Hamline Branch (St. Paul) <br />White Bear Lake Library Lexington Branch (St. Paul) <br />North St. Paul Library St. Anthony Park Branch (St. Paul) <br />Mounds View Library Rice Street Branch (St. Paul) <br /> <br />* Major Resource Library <br /> <br />6. Library users will be informed that items from the Roseville book <br />and periodical collections will be available (through delivery) at <br />any RCPL location. Those collections will be located in closed <br />stacks at the new Maplewood Library or at the existing Maplewood <br />Library, but items will be available through paging. <br /> <br />7. Other locations of special collections (e.g., materials on <br />Minnesota) will be identified for the public. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />9. <br />
