<br />3. That the purpose for which said land herein described is <br />taken is for expansion of the Roseville branch of the <br />Ramsey County Public Library systems. <br /> <br />4. That the Petitioner is authorized by Minnesota statutes <br />Chapter 134 to establish and maintain a public library <br />service. That the petitioner has the power and duty <br />under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 373, to erect <br />buildings for such public library system. That the <br />petitioner is further authorized by Minnesota Statutes <br />S37S.181 to proceed under Chapter 117 to acquire land to <br />be used to enlarge the site of a public building. <br /> <br />5. That attached to this Petition as Appendix B is a copy <br />of a plat map showing the location of the needed <br />property of the above named Respondents' land. <br /> <br />6. The land to be acquired through this proceeding is <br />located within the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />7. The legal description of the land to be taken and the <br />names of those appearing of record or known to the <br />Petitioner to be the owners or occupiers of said land or <br />interested therein, including all whom Petitioner has, <br />by investigation and inquiry, been able to discover, <br />together with the nature of the ownership of each as can <br />be ascertained, are set forth as shown on Appendix C <br />which is attached and incorporated. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays for the order of this Court as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Adjudging that said taking is for the purpose of <br />expanding the Roseville branch of the Ramsey County <br />Public Library System, and as such is for a public <br />purpose, is necessary and is authorized by law. <br /> <br />2. Appointing three disinterested persons, and at least one <br />alternate, residents of Ramsey County, as commissioners <br />to appraise, ascertain and report the amount of damages <br />which may be occasioned by taking of the land; fixing <br />the time and place of the first meeting of the <br />commissioners and requiring the commissioners to file <br />their report with the Court Administrator of District <br />Court within 180 days unless said time be further <br />extended by order of the court; and <br /> <br />3. For such other and further relief as the Court shall <br />deem just and equitable. <br /> <br />2 <br />
