092396 <br />ITEM <br />Planner:Manager Received: Section: <br />Hearing <br />Description: <br />In1993, the City approved planned unit development and 3lotsubdivision for <br />CSMCorporationat2360County Road C. <br />Theproject included demolishing a portion ofthe existing building, reconfiguring <br />anexisting60,000square foot warehousebuilding and adding two <br />facilitiestothe site. <br />Thetotalbuilding square footage originally was212,744 square feet. This will be <br />increasedto235,600 square feet inthe current proposal. <br />Therehabandupgradingofthe 60,000 square foot warehouse facility is <br />completed. <br />new96,000 square foot building (slightly modified) is <br />currently under construction. <br />CSM is proposingtoincrease the square footage ofthe second new <br />buildingfrom 53,264 square feet to79,600 square feet. Ample <br />parking, loading, and landscaping are available onthe site tosupportthis <br />change. <br />Inordertodeal with building footprint modifications, aninterior lot lineneedsto <br />beshiftedtothewestintheplat. <br />With the modification tothe plat, certain utility and drainage easements will need <br />to be vacatedandreplacedatdifferent locations tocorrespond with thenewlot <br />lines. <br />
