<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 1004 and 1010 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Rose vi lIe ordains: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 1004 Chapter 1004.02 of the City Code is hereby <br />amended as deleting subsection 1004.02A4 and 1004.02AS to read as follows: <br /> <br />1004.02 R-l Single-Family Residential Districts: <br /> <br />A. Permitted Uses: <br /> <br />1. One family detached dwellings. <br />2. Public parks and playgrounds. <br />3. Existing railroad right-of-ways for the movement of through trains <br />but not to include switching, storage yards or sidings. <br />4-: Churchcs, convents, libr8f'ies and City buildings, provided that no <br />structure or building shall be ncarer than thirty feet (30') to any <br />adjacent lot in an R District. <br />5-; Public, private and parochial, elemcntary and secondary schools, <br />universities and collegcs and activities operaocd or sponsored by such <br />inMitutions pro'"v"idcd that: <br /> <br />ft; The use by educational institutions docs not include <br />dormitories or rooming gpace for studcnts; and <br />b; No strueturc or building shall be nearer than thirty fect (30') to <br />any adjacent lot in an R Di3triet. <br /> <br />6. "Low impact public or quasi-public uses" as defined in Section <br />1002.02 of this Code, when located in a publicly owned bu ilding or a <br />building which was formerly publicly owned and is now owned by a <br />church, provided that no structure or building shall be nearer than <br />thirty feet (30') to any adjacent lot in an R District. In no case shall <br />the total parking needs of low impact public or quasi-public uses on a <br />single site exceed the parking capacity already existing for the <br />
