<br />All affected adjacent property owners have been notified and have given their written <br />consent for the proposed variance request. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the variance based on findings that no hardships or practical difficulties <br />exist on the site. <br /> <br />2. Grant the varianqe based on the findings that a hardship or practical difficulty <br />exists on the site. <br /> <br />Policy Obiectives: <br /> <br />1. Ensure that development occurs consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan <br />and Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />2. To grant variances where hardships and/or practical difficulties exist. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendations: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council approve Bob and Pam Magnuson's <br />request for a 15 foot rear yard setback variance for Lot 1, Block 1, Bonnie's <br />Addition on the new Milton Street cul-de-sac subject to filing of the final plat. All <br />other setback requirements will be met py the applicant. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1.
