<br />1010.03 <br /> <br />1010.03: ADDITIONS, ALTERATIONS <br />AND ACCESSORY BUILDINGS: <br />All subsequent additions, exterior alter- <br />ations and accessory buildings, constructed <br />after the erection of an original building or <br />buildings shall be of the same materials as <br />those used in the original building and shall <br />be designed in a manner conforming to the <br />original architectural concept and general <br />appearance. These provisions shall not <br />prevent the upgrading of the quality of ma- <br />terials used in a remodeling or expansion <br />program. (Ord. 1083, 1-14-91) <br /> <br />1010.04: APPEARANCE: Garages, acces- <br />sory structures, screened walls <br />and exposed areas of retaining walls shall <br />be of a similar type, quality and appearance <br />of the principal structure. These provisions <br />shall not prevent the upgrading of the quali- <br />ty of materials used in a remodeling or <br />expansion program. (Ord. 1083, 1-14-91) <br /> <br />1010.05: LANDSCAPING IN PARKING <br />AREA: Five percent (5%) of the <br />surface area of the land within a parking <br />area shall be landscaped with grass, shrub- <br />bery, trees and/or other approved ground <br />cover. (Ord. 1083, 1-14-91) <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />1010.06: CONCRETE CURBING: The <br />periphery of parking areas and <br />drives shall be constructed with poured in <br />place concrete curbing. (Ord. 1083, <br />1-14-91) <br /> <br />1010.07: ROOFTOP EQUIPMENT: Roof- <br />top equipment, including rooftop <br />structures related to elevators, shall be <br />completely screened from eye level view <br />from contiguous properties and adjacent <br />streets. Such equipment shall be screened <br /> <br />1010,11 <br /> <br />with parapets or other materials similar to <br />and compatible with exterior materials and <br />architectural treatment on the structure <br />being served, Horizontal or vertical slats of <br />wood material shall not be utilized for this <br />purpose, (Ord. 1083, 1-14-91) <br /> <br />. <br />,'-'. <br /> <br />1010.08: UTILITIES: Other utilities such <br />as meters and air handling <br />equipment attached to walls or placed on <br />the ground shall be located to ensure their <br />proper function and facilitate easy mainte- <br />nance. All such utilities shall be totally <br />screened from eye level view from adjacent <br />properties and public streets utilizing similar <br />and compatible materials to that of the <br />principal structure.
