The Daily, AM Peak Hour, and PM Peak Hour generation rates for high turnover (sit
down) restaurant was generated per 1,000 sq. feet gross floor area. The high turnover
restaurant space was assumed to be 6,000 sq. feet.

3) We would appreciate any explanation or commentary you may have regarding whether
the trips were undercounted.

OSM & Associates does not believe the counts were undercounted or overcounted.
We have reviewed the trip generation rates and find them consistent with the Trip
Generation Information Report. In the comments from the Minnesota Department of
Transportation regarding the EA W, they state: ,"The trip generation rates on page 1 of
the Appendix A appear consistent with the 1991 Institute of Transportation Engineers
trip generation manual. and the trip distributions that were modified from the 1985
traffic report seem reasonable."

4) If there have been any further data collection efforts regarding Centre Pointe that have
been performed by OSM, we would appreciate it if that data were passed on to Kevin
Pape at BRW.

OSM collected some traffic counts at a restaurant and hotel in the Twin Cities area in
order to address neighborhood concerns about evening traffic. This information has
been faxed to Kevin Pape at BRW.

ORR-SCHELEN-MA VERON
& ASSOCIATES, INe.

Sincerely Yours,

7~~

Scott L.
