<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1159 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONI4.040 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE REGARDING FLASHING SIGNS <br /> <br />The City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />Section 14.040 of the City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />14.040: Flashing Signs Prohibited. Flashing signs visible to drive by traffic or acijoining <br />pl'Qperties (pot interior signs) giving offintennittent or rotating beams shall not be permitted ~ <br />district. Where the message or graphic content of a sign can be changed by mechanical or electronic <br />means, such message may not change more than once every 24 hours except messages displaying time <br />and temperature. Electronic message devices not visible to drive by traffic or adjoinin& prQperty <br />for interior site use onty shall be exempt from these requirements of Section 14.040. The size <br />of this sign shall be part of the overall allowable signage. <br /> <br />Section 14.020 of the City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />14.020: Interior Sign. Any type of sign which is within a building or located on a site so that <br />it is not intended to display its message outside of the building or beyond the property line to <br />adjoining properties or drive by traffic.
