If yes, indicate the source, quantity, duration, purpose of the appropriation, and
DNR water appropriation permit number of any existing appropriation. Discuss
the impact of the appropriation on ground water levels.

c. Will the project require connection to a public water supply?

X Yes No

If yes, identify the supply, the DNR water appropriation permit number of the
supply, and the quantity to be used.

The project will connect to the City of Roseville municipal water supply system. An 8-inch
ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main will be placed beneath the proposed extension of Long
Lake Road. On the north end, that main will connect to an existing 12-inch main near the
intersection of Long Lake Road and County Road B2. On the south end, that main will
connect to an existing 8-inch water main that runs along the north side of Highway 36,
thus creating a loop through the project.

The proposed set of four buildings on the northern part of the site will draw water from an
existing 12-inch water main running east and west on a line extending east from County
Road B2. The proposed southern building will draw water from the proposed 8-inch DIP
beneath the proposed extension of Long Lake Road.

Because the actual tenants of the buildings have not yet been identified, the water use can
only be estimated based on typical use for commercial buildings. The projected total water
demand for the office, manufacturing, and warehouse space to be created is approximately
135 gpm peak, and 45 gpm average (not including fire demand). The City of Roseville buys
its water from the City of St. Paul. St. Paul has the following MnDNR Water
Appropriation Permits: #756227, #756228, #756229, #756230, and #776229.

14. Water-related Land Use Management Districts. Does any part of the project site
mlvolve a shoreland zoning district, a delineated 100-year flood plain, or a state or
federally designated wild or scenic river land use district?

Yes X No

If yes, identify the district and discuss the compatibility of the project with the land
use restrictions of the district.

15. Water Surface Use. Will the project change the 'number or type of watercraft on any
water body? Yes -L No

If' yes, indicate the current and projected watercraft usage and discuss any potential
o',ercrowding or conflicts with other users or fish and wildlife resources.

16.
