<br />recommend that the Council direct the Planning Commission to schedule public <br />hearings and seek further public input on the comprehensive plan revisions for the <br />neighborhood, including new policies and a land use map change from business to high <br />density residential for the south east corner (6.2 acres) of the neighborhood changes in <br />the public infrastructure including road alignments and widths, pathway needs and <br />locations, and other quality of life improvements to the residential neighborhood, and, <br />further, request staff review the financial alternatives/implications for this site, noting <br />that hearings will need to be held on the economic impact of any development <br />alternatives. <br /> <br />The motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Chairman Keith Wietecki was not convinced that single family land use will be there for <br />the long term.
