<br /> <br />.. , <br /> <br />r'; ~v1 $J' <br />\.,,,~ <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MWUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Tuesday, the"2Scd day of~ 1997 at 6:30 P.M. <br />,t.\~ J'~ <br />The following members yjbre present: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Council Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR A BEAUTY PARLOR AS A HOME OCCUPATION AT <br />1120 COUNTY ROAD C2 W <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02C of the Roseville City Code allows beauty parlors and <br />barber shops as a conditional use within an R-1 Single Family Residential District with <br />provisions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Laura Alwan has requested a conditional use permit to allow a <br />beauty parlor as a home occupation at 1120 County Road C2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, June 11, 1997, and recommended approval of the requested <br />conditional use permit subject to conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, .t,.II"j 23, 1097, and <br />J~ 1'1, l~47 <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The proposed use of the property for a one operator beauty parlor will have a <br />minimum impact on traffic in the area. The property is located at the intersection of <br />Country Road C2 W, which is a cul-de-sac with six single family residential lots, and <br />Lexington Avenue N, which is a minor arterial. <br /> <br />2. The proposed use of the property for a ~ne operator beauty parlor will not have an <br />impact on parks, streets and other public facilities. <br /> <br />3. The proposed use of the property for a one operator beauty parlor will be <br />compatible with contiguous properties. The existing driveway will provide adequate <br />off-street parking for the residents and one patron. In addition, there will be minimal <br />exterior evidence of a home occupation at this location. <br />
