Mr. Bilotta advised that they had <br /> settled on 100' as their recommendation for the standard for garages essentially <br /> disappearing from the street front. Mr. Bilotta noted that this would be intended <br /> as a standard for exceptional situations, with the Planning Commission using the <br /> recent Art Mueller development site and property as an example of one such <br /> unique situation. <br /> Even recognizing the considerable amount of discussion held to-date by the Plan- <br /> ning Commission and City Council, Councilmember McGehee expressed her <br /> preference at 80'. <br /> Councilmember Willmus agreed with 80', and expressed his willingness to go <br /> down as far as 70'. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte referenced the Planning Commission discussion, which <br /> she had viewed, and expressed her satisfaction with their recommendation of <br /> 100'. <br /> Mayor Roe stated that he would prefer 100' versus 80', but was not overly sup- <br /> portive of such a standard at all. <br /> McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1470 (Attach- <br /> ment B) entitled, "An Ordinance Amending Selected Text of title 10 Zoning Or- <br /> dinance of the Roseville City Code;" allowing garage doors to be extended for- <br /> ward a maximum of five feet from the predominant portion of the principal use, <br /> while still required to meet the thirty foot principal structure front yard setback; <br /> and exempting homes with an attached garage[set back 801 feet or more from the <br /> front property line, but still required to meet all other requirements of Section <br /> 1004.05.A. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte reiterated her preference for a 100' setback. <br /> Mayor Roe stated that he could not support 80', and wasn't even sure if he sup- <br /> ported the 100'. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Etten and McGehee. <br /> Nays: Laliberte and Roe. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> e. Network Connectivity Options: Park Facilities and Water/Sewer Stations <br /> Information Technology (IT) Network Manager Terre Heiser noted previous dis- <br /> cussions and presentations to the City Council as part of managing network con- <br /> nectivity for park facilities for card access, security cameras, and provision for <br /> those sites to provide public interne. As detailed in the RCA dated August 11, <br /> 2014, Mr. Heiser noted three viable options as outlined; and reviewed the benefits <br />
