<br />EXTRACT OF MmUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Tuesday, the 11th day of August, 1997 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR A COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS TOWER AT <br />2582 LONG LAKE ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.10A of the Roseville City Code identifies commercial <br />receiving or transmitting antennas and towers not located on a city tower site as a <br />conditional in any zoning district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CB Commercial has requested a conditional use permit to allow the <br />placement of a 90 foot monopole commercial communications tower on a non-City tower <br />site at 2582 Long Lake Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, July 9, 1997, and recommended approval of the requested <br />conditional use permit subject to conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, August 11, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The proposed use of the property for a commercial communications tower <br />will have a minimum impact on traffic in the area. No new parking or <br />driveways are proposed. Service vehicles are estimated to be on the site for <br />up to three hours per week. Parking will be done in the existing parking lot. <br /> <br />2. The proposed use of the property for a commercial communications tower <br />will not have an impact on parks, streets and other public facilities. <br /> <br />Resolution _ - Page 1 of 3 <br />
