Upon completion
of the modular retaining block at the south end of the site, we were left with only 24"-30"
between the top of the wall and the back ofthe curb. The landscape drawing, as approved
by the City ofRoseville, calls for 36 Alpine Currant shrubs to be planted between the
curb line and the top of the retaining wall. During the construction inspection process we
were required to add a fence between the wall and the curb to prevent pedestrians from
walking over the edge of the wall. Therefore, we constructed a cedar split rail fence per
Bob Rosenquist's approval. As a result, we do not feel we have ample room to plant the
shrubs as indicated

Please review this condition and inform us if these bushes can be eliminated. If you have
any questions or require additional information regarding this subject. please contact me.

Sincerely,

CONSTRUCTTON COMPANY

JMS/cll

cc: Larry Barrett - Oppidan
Hal Stevens - L&KLandscaping
Chuck Labeaux - Kraus-Anderson

Building Division
c:\my documents\j3811\lee4-17.d<X7500 Minnehaha Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55404
Phone: (612) 721-7581 FAX: (612) 721-2660
Equal Opportunity Employer
