<br />1.5 It is anticipated that a longer tenn solution to the regional surface water ponding needs in <br />this area will be created in the future. This ponding area will, at a minimum, accept the amount <br />of surface water run-off :ITom developments within the drainage area that were created prior to <br />the 1997 moratorium. <br /> <br />~ Alternative Pondine Proposal <br /> <br />2.1 Because of the limited space on the Allen site, the July,1997, Rice Creek Watershed <br />Permit approving the storage pond, and because of the temporary moratorium on the use of the <br />James Addition Regional Pond, the design for the Allen site has an alternative ponding design <br />and site with the following characteristics: <br /> <br />a. Size in surface area (s.f.): 4,000 s.f. <br />b. Storage capacity in acre feet: 44 acre feet (dead storage) <br />40 acre feet (1 00 year) <br />c. Pond entry slope: 2/1 <br />d. Pond deep slope: 2/1 <br />e. Pond depth: 12 feet <br />f. Pond invert elevation: Elevation: 918 Feet <br />g. Ordinary high water elevation: 100 year: 933.5 Feet <br />h. Side slope and pond bottom materials: Clay <br />1. Water detention time: 2 1/2' nonnal <br />100 year = 12 hours <br />J. Fence length, height, and gate location: 315' long - 6 feet <br />J.
