<br />1. Restrictions: Permitted home occupations shall not be conducted in any <br />building on the premises other than the building which is used by the occupant as <br />the private dwelling, and not more than one room may be used for such purposes. <br />(Ord. 275, 5-12-1959) <br />2. Employees: Permitted home occupations shall not include the employment <br />of any persons not residing on the premises in the performance of such <br />occupation, nor the use of mechanical equipment other than is usual for purely <br />domestic or hobby purposes; and further shall not include exterior display or signs <br />except as are permitted by the sign regulations for residence districts2. <br />3. Exterior Storage Prohibited: There shall be no exterior storage of <br />equipment or materials used in permitted home occupations. <br />4. Prohibited Home Uses: Permitted home occupations shall not include any <br />of the following: <br />a. The operation of any wholesale or retail business unless it is conducted <br />entirely by mail and does not involve the sale, shipment or delivery of merchandise <br />on the premises. <br />b. Any manufacturing business, barber shop or beauty shop, dancing or <br />musical school with organized classes of more than one pupil at a time, <br />commercial stable or kennel or any activity producing noxious matter or perceptible <br />noise beyond the lot line.
