A public hearing on this request will be held by the Planning <br />Commission on December 10, 1997; however, the item will not be placed on the <br />City Council agenda until January 12, 1998. For this reason, the time line for <br />agency review must be extended for 60 days, from January 9, 1998, to March 9, <br />1998. <br /> <br />2.2 Patricia Halverson (NIPS, Inc.) is requesting a comprehensive plan amendment to <br />change the designation of a .54 acre portion of a parcel from Business to Medium <br />Density Residential. This comprehensive plan amendment and subsequent <br />rezoning from B-3 to R-3A will facilitate the transfer of this portion of a parcel from <br />2075 Snelling Avenue (McDonald's) to 2096 Fry Street (multi-family residential <br />parcel). On October 28, 1997, a letter was submitted by the applicant to waive the <br />60 day review period until a site plan for proposed McDonald's rebuild was <br />submitted.
