I do not understand the significance of <br />"notify the residents at least five days prior...." <br />What should then be our recourse are we to abandon OUT <br />homes, or....? <br /> <br />My recommendation as an alternative to this plan would <br />be to take this entire idea and implement it at the <br />State Fair Grounds where no one lives within several <br />city blocks (except for a brief time late .in August) . <br />Or, implement the project at the Southwestern corner of <br />Larpenteur and Clcvelilnd Avenues on that fallow land. <br />Keeping in mind the proximity to Larpenteur Avenue <br />which is critical to your project goal and the fact <br />that you seem not concerned that there will be harm to <br />the environment.Or,the old munitions manufacturing <br />area where there is a lot of already contatninated land. <br />There probably are many places where given a little <br />more time than four days, before the p]anning <br />Commission Meeting, the residents of our neighborhood <br />could sU9gest you might place the concrctG rubble. <br /> <br />I think it is time that you begin to be more <br />forthright, open, and timely in telling the taxpayers <br />about what you are planning to do to our community. <br />I certainly would appreciate a response to my concerns <br />so I can share it with my neighbors and elected <br />officials.
