<br />CITY OF ROSEVIL~E <br />INFRASTRUCTURE COMMIITEE <br /> <br />ASSIGNMENT: <br /> <br />To study and advise the City Council on the issues of recreational infrastructure elements <br />believed beneficial to the community utilizing a process which: <br /> <br />1. Builds on the VISTA 2000 community planning process, <br /> <br />2. Evaluates, amends, and prioritizes the work of the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission, <br /> <br />3. Considers the varied recreational infrastructure needs of the community in relation <br />to the financial resources and possible partnership opportunities to minimize direct <br />City investment. <br /> <br />SCOPE: <br /> <br />To address infrastructure needs on a Citywide basis, with special attention paid to <br />strengthening neighborhoods. <br /> <br />TfME LINE: <br /> <br />Project completion within six (6) months, with some elements to be completed earlier, as <br />needed. <br /> <br />PURPOSE: <br /> <br />The Council is interested in irvolving a broad cross section of the community in advancing <br />the work of the City staff, the VISTA 2000 Leisure Committee, and the City Council to chart <br />a course for the community to address its long-term recreational infrastructure needs. The <br />s.tated major purposes of the Infrastructure Committee are as follows: <br /> <br />A. Review proposed projects that need to addressed immediately. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Ascertain each project's compliance with the adopted infrastructure policy and <br />inclusion in the Roseville Parks and Recreation Systems Plan. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Recommend staff or consultant planning issues. <br /> <br />,." <br /> <br />D.
