<br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />DATE: 03/23/98 <br />ITEM NO: C-l <br />pproved: Agenda Section: <br />o CONSENT <br />Extending the time line or review period for the following: Farrington <br />Properties, Inc. request for rezoning of property from 1-1 Light <br />Industrial to B-3 General Business at 2485 Fairview Avenue North <br />(PF2989). <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.1 In accordance with Minnesota Statutes 15.99, extend the time line for agency <br />review of the following applications for 60 days: <br /> <br />Planning File <br /> <br />Applicant <br /> <br />Request <br /> <br />PF2989 <br /> <br />Farrington Properties, Inc. <br /> <br />Rezoning (1-1 to B-3) <br /> <br />2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />2.1 Farrington Properties, Inc, is requesting rezoning of a 1.8 acre parcel from 1-1 Light <br />Industrial to B-3 General Business. A public hearing on this request was held by the <br />Planning Commission on March 11, 1998, and was scheduled for City Council <br />action on March 23, 1998. Since the Planning Commission meeting, the applicant <br />has requested that the City Council defer consideration of the request until the April <br />27, 1998, City Council meeting. For this reason, the time line for agency review <br />must be extended for 60 days, from April 1 0, 1998, to June 9, 1998. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION <br /> <br />3.1 By resolution, extend the time line for agency review of the application of Farrington <br />Properties, Inc. requesting rezoning of a 1.8 acre parcel from 1-1 Light Industrial to <br />B-3 General Business, for 60 days, from April 10, 1998, to June 9,1998. <br /> <br />Attachments: Resolution; Letter from Dale Joel, Farrington Properties, IncJFajrview Properties <br /> <br />Prepared by: Kim L.
