Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 27th day of April, 1998 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, Wall <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9540 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ALLOW FOR AN AMENDMENT TO A PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT (EAGLECREST) <br />PRESBYTERIAN HOMES HOUSING AND ASSISTED LIVING, INC. <br />(2965 Lincoln Drive, Roseville) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Presbyterian Homes Housing and Assisted Living, inc., 2965 Lincoln Drive, <br />Roseville, has requested an amendment to a Planned Unit Development (EagleCrest), <br />to allow for the increase in square footage of the building proposed for the northwest <br />corner from 26,500 square. feet to 32,900 square feet to allow for the construction of a <br />re-designed 36.unit dementia facility for the following described property, to wit: <br /> <br />-......; <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, College Properties (PIN 042923140065) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, April 8, 1998 and recommended approval of the requested <br />Amendment toia Planned Unit Development (EagleCrest) for Presbyterian Homes <br />Housing and Assisted Living, Inc., subject to conditions as listed hereafter, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on April 27, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The use of the property for a one-story 36.unit assisted care housing <br />facility for senior is consistent with master site plan approved in 1993 for <br />this planned unit development. <br /> <br />2. The re-design of the facility and increased size of individual units will <br />better serve the residents with dementia being housed in this facility. <br /> <br />3.
