Development <br />North Parking Lot - Phase II <br />Old Highway 8 <br />RosevillelSt. Anthony, Minnesota <br /> <br />Dear Members of the Planning Commission: <br /> <br />I wish to express my opinion regarding the development plans that are before you regarding <br />Phase II of Men dot a Homes, Inc. senior citizen housing. <br /> <br />I reside at 3155 Old Highway 8, No. 101, St. Anthony, MN 55418. I do not have any <br />objections toward the future development of Men dot a Homes Phases II and III. I do have <br />objections to proceed with Phase IT without purchasing the land for Phase III. The present plan <br />to build a 3-story apartment building is too much for the land that is available to Mendota Homes. <br />Upon completion, the senior apartment building will be 48 feet away ITom the north side of3155 <br />Executive Manor Condominiums building. I want to see that land for Phase ill be purchased now <br />so that there will be more acreage to plan and develop Phases II and III properly. <br /> <br />Having said this, if there is an urgent need to develop on the small parking lot now, I would <br />rather see Mr. John Mathern's plans for development for senior housing go through rather than <br />development for townhomes by someone else. I see townhouse development by any developer as <br />a less desirable scenario because of the footage available for development. <br /> <br />In summary, the north parking lot is too small for development of any kind, unless additional <br />parcels of land are purchased immediately. <br /> <br />Thank you, <br />CI{~/J/~c:;t{ JL-bY1MCU <br /> <br />Kathleen K.
