Box 416 Forest Lake; MN 55025 January 7, 1998 Kim Lee City Planner City of Roseville 2660 Civic Center Drive Roseville, MN 55113 Dear Ms. Lee, On Tuesday, January 6, 1998, Mendota Homes, Ine. held an informational meeting for neighbors of our proposed senior apartment building (Phase II) near State Highway 88 and Old Highway 8 in the Cities of Roseville and St. Anthony Village. This meeting was intended to provide explanation of the project to those who will be living closest to it and to answer resident's questions and concerns. I notified all residents within 350 feet of this project (Phase II) and within 350 feet of an adjoining parcel proposed for an identical condominium building (Phase I). In addition, I notified all residents of the Executive Manor Condominiums, which are directly south of the proposed project. Approximately twenty individuals attended the meeting - most were residents of Executive Manor. We, along with those who attended, came to two conclusions from this meeting. First, the Executive Manor residents expressed concern with the proximity of our building to theirs. H possible, we would like to move our building five feet further north to accommodate Executive Manor. Second, we discussed reducing the number of parking spaces for this aparbnent building from 42 to 30. I believe you already have a copy of this proposal and we'd simply like to move forward with it Since the parking lot is the portion of the parcel located in St. Anthony Village, I will confirm this change with Kim Moore-Sykes from the City of St. Anthony Village as well.
