The property is <br />currently a partdng Jot and will continue to be used as a parking lot with a reduction in the <br />amount of imptrvious surface and an increase in landscaping. The adjacent property is zoned <br />residential and this rezoning would makl: the tv,'o properties corrsistcnt. <br /> <br />Commis'Jioner Mnkowske reported th!: Planning Commission discussed this request brietly and <br />all were impressed by the project. The Planning Commission voted unanimously to <br />recommend approval of the rezoning request. <br /> <br />C...avanaugh staled this looked like a good projet't and asked the developer if this proposal was <br />in connection with the pr~ject on 331<! Avcnue EUld Highway 88. <br /> <br />John Mathem, Merrdota Homes, pnwided a britf summary of the project. It will include a <br />30-unH condominium in the City of RoscvilIe and a 30-unit senior rental building on the <br />parcel located in the Cities of Sl. Anthony and Roseville. The parcel located in Sl. Anthony <br />",ill be used for p91king. Th, parking has been reduced from 45 parking spaces and two <br />~ntrance5, to 30 parking spa.ces with one entrance off Old Highway 8. An informa.tional <br />meeting had been held with the residents in the vicinity of the project. Most of the attendees <br />were residents of th!: Executive Corrdominium Building.
