<br />3. The Cornerstone Project...A City housing design/renovation <br />demonstration program run by QSA -Quam Sumnicht & Associates, to <br />provide city revolving loans funds to for architectural design assistance <br />to up to 3 housing units in the first year. The program will include: <br /> <br />a. Private sector redesign of 3 - 1960's Roseville Ramblers <br /> <br />b. City leveraged construction financing ( 50% or <br />$15,000, whichever is less) to be repaid at time of sale of house. <br /> <br />c. Bank collaboration to assist with long term mortgage refinancing. <br /> <br />d. Promotional materials to interest up to 10 other property <br />owners to begin similar renovations within 24 months. <br /> <br />4. Cornerstore Demonstration Project... This is a city design/renovation <br />demonstration program run by QSA -Quam Sumnicht & Associates, to <br />provide city guidance for up to three intersections which are underused or <br />outdated. The architectural design assistance program would help provide <br />protype redesigns for small stores and upper level housing. It would provide <br />an opportunity to re-introduce first level new pedestrian oriented service and <br />retail uses into the edge of the neighborhood as well as provide a second and <br />third story opportunity for seniors or young adults to remain in the <br />neighborhood. The architectural consultant will review available pilot sites <br />and a select 3 to prepare more indepth design details. <br /> <br />5. Zeece Site Senior Housing Demonstration Project... This project is a a <br />demonstration infill housing site that could create a senior neighborhood of <br />40 to 70 housing units. The site has significant soil compaction problems that <br />could be resolved with a demonstration grant. It may be possible to create an <br />inter-generational neighborhood on the site with young and elde living <br />nearby.
