Review the proposed sale of 2425 – 2335 Dale Street and 657-675 Cope Avenue by <br />1 <br />the Roseville Housing & Redevelopment Authority and City of Roseville to facilitate <br />2 <br />the “Dale Street Fire Station Redevelopment Project” <br />3 <br />As detailed in the staff report dated August 6, 2014, Senior Planner Lloyd noted the <br />4 <br />Planning Commission to review any proposals by the City to acquire or dispose of land <br />5 <br />and make applicable findings of such proposals. Mr. Lloyd referenced the proposed sale <br />6 <br />of the Dale Street properties, as detailed in the staff report and outlined by HRA <br />7 <br />Executive Director Jeanne Kelsey. <br />8 <br />Chair Gisselquist noted that this proposal had come before the Commission several <br />9 <br />times, with details addressed during those discussions; and opined he found no problems <br />10 <br />with the proposal in relation to the Comprehensive Plan and suggested the project could <br />11 <br />continue moving forward. <br />12 <br />Member Daire expressed only one concern he had with the garage door design and <br />13 <br />width of doors, and this proposal’s recommendation for one single 16’ door versus 2-9’ <br />14 <br />single garage doors. <br />15 <br />City Planner Paschke clarified that this proposal was zoned Medium Density Residential <br />16 <br />(MDR) and the applicable rules addressed by Member Daire, and as discussed <br />17 <br />extensively earlier this evening, were applicable in Low Density Residential zoning <br />18 <br />designations (LDR-1 and/or LDR-2). <br />19 <br />MOTION <br />20 <br />Murphy moved, seconded by Member Gisselquist their determination that the <br />21 <br />proposed disposition of 2325-2335 Dale Street and 657-675 Cope Avenue is in <br />22 <br />compliance with the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, based on the comments and <br />23 <br />findings detailed in the staff report dated August 6, 2014. <br />24 <br />Ayes: 7 <br />25 <br />Nays: 0 <br />26 <br />Motion carried. <br />27 <br />28 <br />
